David Angell

Has worked in digital marketing, SEO and communications since 2004. Notably he worked as an award-winning member of the AdWords team at Google’s EMEA HQ advising companies from SME to multi-national. He also launched and managed Google’s UK programmes for Google Grants, Google Earth Outreach and the YouTube non-profit programme. He also ran Online Communications for former Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg prior to and through the 2010 election. Since then he’s been a Digital Analytics and Communications Consultant for multiple people and organisations as Director of Wordsmith Digital and Associate Director of Brand Response.

 

Ben Stockman

Is an award-winning web and digital consultant. In the last of years he has project-managed for the multiple award-winning Rabbit agency, where he ran several campaigns and events for national and global clients, winning PRCA’s “Best Campaign” award for AVG’s Digital Diaries series. He also trained their team in community management – they went on to win Agency of the Year in 2012. Ben now trains and consults for national & global brands, specialising in community growth & digital strategy.

 

Sam Lockwood

Over eight years experience in senior digital positions, notably responsible for a high-profile programme of transformational change during, and after, the 2010 UK General Election for the Liberal Democrat Party in the UK. Following the transition into Government his team managed extensive customisation of a mission critical ($1.5m) campaign marketing CRM system used by Obama for America.

 

Phil Verney

Is a Google veteran, with over 10 years with the Google Earth & Maps team being a key advocate for GIS technology and geo-web-based marketing. His work hold communities at it’s core, managing one of the world’s largest online communities including super-user identification and engagement, social media communications and developing content strategy for one of the world’s most recognisable brands.

 

Andrew Walker

Andrew Walker is a digital strategy consultant, author and speaker. Over the last eighteen years he’s co-founded three successful technology startups. He’s created data mining systems and reputation management tools for personalities and organisations (including law firms, politicians and financial institutions). Andrew as a commentator has reported on elections for the BBC, been a guest technology expert on Sky News and radio (BBC R4 Today, PM, World at One, World Have Your Say), written in newspapers (Independent, Guardian) and magazines (Linux User, .Net, WebUser) about digital technology, business and culture.
