Wordsmith Digital is a company comprised of writers,  digital communicators and SEO magicians; a collective of talented internet natives with skills spanning the entire gamut of digital possibility. From all things website to global communities and digital campaigns both political and corporate; we are the fixers of the internet; aficionados, enthusiasts, devotees and connoisseurs of words.

DAVID ANGELL

Has worked in digital marketing, SEO and communications since 2004. Notably he worked as an award-winning member of the AdWords team at Google’s EMEA HQ advising companies from SME to multi-national. He also launched and managed Google’s UK programmes for Google Grants, Google Earth Outreach and the YouTube non-profit programme. He also ran Online Communications for former Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg prior to and through the 2010 election. Since then he’s been a Digital Analytics and Communications Consultant for multiple people and organisations as Director of Wordsmith Digital.

BEN STOCKMAN

Is an award-winning web and digital consultant, specialising in community management and online campaigning. In the past he project-managed for the multiple award-winning Rabbit agency, "winning PRCA’s “Best Campaign” award in the process. He was responsible for growing AVG Antivirus' global community to over 3 million people, and was also the founder of the first “biggest political Facebook campaign in UK history”™

Ben now trains and consults for national & global agencies and clients across multiple sectors, and has worked with brands including O2, IBM, Connaught and Pfizer to help them to campaign and transform using digital.

AMY BARTLETT

Amy is a digital marketing strategist and content creation specialist, experienced in building advertising campaigns across web, apps, social media and email marketing. She is Google Ads and Digital Garage certified including Search and Display. She holds a degree in English Language and Media.

Amy manages projects for clients across a number of sectors including healthcare, events, hospitality and retail and is proficient in leading digital campaigns from concept to execution to optimisation.

ALENA JARRETT

Alena is a media specialist. Her skills span photography / videography and editing, animation, social media content creation; and digital advertising. She is soon to gain a BA in Contemporary Media Cultures. Originally from England, Alena spent alot of her life living in California.

SAM CRABBE

Sam is a digital marketing specialist and website designer and developer. Sam has experience in marketing, hospitality and customer service. He's due to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Management this year.

STEPHANIE KIRK

Stephanie is an unconventional professional. Formerly a Stage Manager, she has curated a toolkit of skills over more than 15 years of managing people, empowering teams by improving digital processes for tech, creative and client services departments in companies such as WeTransfer and Yell.

Stephanie can do a 360 review of a digital process to diagnose and fix key blockers to growth. She can devise a process evolution, suggest solution integration and automation for time and cost savings, create full training and documentation, and help recruit and onboard in-house, supplier or remote teams. She covers interim management roles, diagnoses and fixes operational puzzles, and coaches team members who are early in their people management journey. She mostly works remotely from Amsterdam.

ANDREW WALKER

Andrew Keith Walker is a digital content specialist and writer. After a career as a designer and coder in the ’90s, he set up his own creative agency and three successful tech start-ups in the world of digital news, music and data privacy in the ‘00s. He holds the dubious honour of being the first journalist to interview a British Prime Minister by posing questions from a live Twitter audience; he’s written and broadcast features for The Independent, The Guardian, the BBC, RT and numerous tech magazines; he’s been the digital tech pundit on radio and TV news; and regularly appears as the ‘guest keynote scruffy middle-aged geek’ at conferences around the world talking about the effect of digital technology on society and the economy.

JONATHAN STEWART

Jonathan Stewart is an award-winning writer and graphic designer. He started his career interviewing and writing abridged biographies for household names. Since then, he's added new arrows to his quiver, producing healthcare compliant visual assets for The National Pharmacy Association, The Health Policy Partnership and The Straumann Group, advising low-and-no brands Punchy and Quarter G/N on their ToV strategy, and writing SEO-optimised content for the silversmiths Grant Macdonald London.
